This weapon is a two meter long chain with small weights at either end of it. It is a melee weapon that is used by swinging the chain about one's body, and using the weights to strike your opponent. It uses the Whips/Flails Skill. This is an alternative to the weapon offered in the Cannon Companion.

This weapon is a new entry into the weapons field. It is made completely out of composite materials. This weapon is also custom-made for Hi-C plastic rounds (Cannon Companion). These rounds suffer double recoil penalities, and reduce the power by one at long and extreme ranges. The specially made magazines are fully hermetically sealed. This means that no gasses are allowed out. This makes the weapon undetectable to gaseous sensors. The composite materials makes the weapon completely undetectable to conventional metal detectors as well. It can still be detected by density scanners, however. It also has in integral silencer. Due to the included customized grips, and the custom design for Hi-C rounds, this weapon has 2 points of recoil compensation.
There are drawbacks, however. The hermetically sealed magazines require a Simple Action to "Ready a Weapon." This action breaks the seal. The weapon can only be used after this action is taken. This action also renders the magazine a normal magazine that can only be used by the Insider. This hermetic seal cannot be "resealed."
Any smartlinks, lasersights, etc that are placed on the weapon, due to the metal and electronic components, will negate the bonuses gained from the ceramic construction. As a result, the maker of this weapon does not install them on this weapon. It is possible to mount them later, but at the cost of the complete invisibility to magnetic sensors.
These weapons are handmade by a single craftsman in Chicago. Any attempts to acquire this weapon outside of Chicago cause an increase in Availability and Street Index. These become 30/2 months and 7 respectively.
As of yet, no hermetically sealed magazines for other weapons are being made by this craftsman.
This weapon was made using the weapon creation rules from the Cannon Companion. It features Ceramic Components 3, Improved Concealability 2, Recoil Compensation 1, Weight Decrease 6, Integral Silencer, and Personalized Grips. It has 0 FCU remaining.
