Pokemon Gold Walkthrough
(3rd Page):
Going back to Red and Blue (Version):
After
you defeat the league, you now are at your home town. You should go to the lab,
and Pro. Elm will give you a ticket, which will allow you to get on St. Ann
ship. After you get the ticket, you should go to Olivine city where the steel
gym at. Go toward south, there is a house like an entrance, and go in. Talk
to the guy who is guarding the entrance of the ship, after you show your ticket,
you will enter the ship, and the ship will leave.
You have a room, and it has a sailor at the
door. Go around and enter each room, fight with trainers. After you fight all
the trainer on that floor, go to the second on the first row of rooms (the room
next to yours), there will be a sailor, fight with him. Then you can go down
to the second floor, and fight with trainers. At last, you will get into the
captain's room. Talk to the girl, and then you will go to another room. The
man in that room will thank you for getting his grand-daughter back, and he
will give you a metal coat, which help evolve onix. Now you are arrived, and
you should leave now.
Do you feel fimilar? Yes! it's ...
Yes,
you are in Vermilion City, back to Kanto, and you come to the old world. What
you have to do is to defeat every gym leaders you have to fight in Red and Blue
Version. They are really easy, and it sort of depress me. But Misty, Gary and
Blain are harder to win. (Not every leader will give you a TM.)
- First, fight
with Lt. Surge, he is stll elctric pokemon trainer. Watch out his Eletribuzz.
After Defeat him, go on to Saffron City, to fight Sabrina. Watch out her Mr.
Mine. Then go to Celadon City, to fight Erika; after you win Erika will give
you the TM of Maga Drain. There isn't much to see in Celadon City now.
Then go to Fuchsia City to fight Janine. Since her brother is in the Eliet
League, so she becomes the leader of the gym. Janine is easiest leader to
win. She will give TM of Toxic. You may not able to surf to Seafoam
Island from there yet.
- To fight with
Misty: When you go into Misty's gym, it is empty. Will you have to go
to the eletric tower (or the power tower where you can catch Zadapto in Red
and blue version.) Go into there, talk with everyone inside. When you try
to leave, Officer Jenny's phone rings, and she will talk to you. Now go back
to Misty's gym, there will be a Team Rocket, he won't fight you now, he will
fight you later. Now go up to the bridge, and fight the Team Rocket. After
you defeat him, he will tell you that he hid something in the gym. Now go
on to the Bill's home (like in Red and Blue version), you will figh with the
some trainers. Then at Bill's house, Misty is at the bridge with her boyfriend.
Her boyfriend will run away, and she is mad at you, but she will go back to
her gym at fight with you.
If you have a strong grass type pokemon, you will have
no problem defeat her. And you will get the thing at this location:
Face that way, and then press A bottom, You
will then get the missing thing Officer Jenny talk about.

- Go back to the
power tower and talk with red guy, he will thank you and give you the TM07
(of Electric Cannon). It a powerful electric attack, teach it to your
strongest electric pokemon.
- To fight
with Brock: Brock is in his gym, but you
are unable to get there because Snorlax is blocking you way. Waking up Snorlax,
you have to go to the Ghost town (where you can catch ghost pokemons in Red
and blue version.) You need to enter the Radio Tower and talk to the man in
black and hat, he will update your radio. Now go back where the Snorlax is,
and select gear and select radio. Press "up" until it show something like
pokeflute. Then "talk" to the Snowlax, it will wake up and fight with
you. This Snorlax is at level 50, and you better catch it, but it is really
hard to catch. Just be patient! Now you are able to go into the Diglette's
cave. Of course you can catch diglettes inside. Exit the cave, you problem
recognize the place. You can go around. What you should do is go to fight
with Brock. Brock has some new pokemon (not just rock type). Bring a powerful
psychic and a grass type pokemon.
- Now you can go
to Ash's home town, Pallet Town, and see Prof. Oak, he will talk you. Ash
is not at home, so as Gary.
- You now will
go to the Seafoam Island, where Blain is. Blain's gym is disappeared, so he
uses Seafoam Island as his gym. But the place where (Cinnabar Island) Blain's
gym was before is still there. Gary is there, talk to him, he will then teleport
back to his gym. Go on, to fight with Blain. Bring your powerful water type
Pokemon. Now you are able to surf to Fushia city from Seafoam island now.
- You can go back
the Earth gym, now Gary is the Leader. He may be the toughest leader to defeat.
Choose you pokemon wisely.
Fight with Ash:
Since
you got all the badges (16 in total), you can go on to fight your final opponent,
Ash! First you have to go to talk to Prof. Oak, then go to the Viridian City,
and walk toward to League house. Do you feel similar? The two guards is gone.
Now go to the other side, and enter. It's another wild place, called Silver
Mountain. There is a few houses, and a pokemon center. You are able to fly to
here. There are many strong pokemons. To find Ash, you need to enter the cave
(you need flash). Just fallow the track, you don't need to waterfall or surf.
Ash's pokemon and the winning tips:
- Pickchu: (level
81) He often uses pickchu first, it has powerful attacks but bad defence.
A rock type pokemon or a strong electric pokemon may finish him eysily. Fire
attack is the best to defeat pickchu.
- Snorlax: (level
75) It is the hardest one to fight, 'cause it always use rest when you almost
finish him. Use a poweful fire pokemon or electric pokemon or use a ghost
pokemon since it likes to sleep (use dream eater). Don't use a water, ice
and grass type pokemon to fight Snorlax.
- Venusour: (level
77) use a powerful fire type pokemon.
- Blastoise: (level
77) use a electric pokemon or grass pokemon.
- Charizard: (level
77) Use a powerful water pokemon.
- Eefi: (level
73) it's another eevee's evolve stage (train only during date-time), it's
a psychic pokemon. Use your fire or electric pokemon.
Well, no battles now!
