-The
Nads "Osama Bin Laden For Prez, Now it is 2004" CD: Released
in August 2003 DIY. NADS-CDR-008. This CD was two years in the making.
The album cover art work is a Orwell style dystopia. The concept is, the
fear of terrorism is what will elect the president of the United States
in the 2004 election, not the needs of the people. This album has 99 songs
and 52mins of music. This is the first Nads CD to hit the college radio
charts, reaching #11 on CKCU, and included in the best of 2003 year end
program. This CD ranked #10 for best album of 2003 in the Ottawa Sun, as
well I was interviewed in the Sun for this album. Xpress gave the album
a good review, and Exclaim says "Jason Ramone... has created one of the
strangest, potentially offensive, and arguably most brilliant albums you
will here all year".
-Slaughter
House Records "Disharmony Scene" Compilation CD: Released in June 2003
DIY. This CD isn't for the weak-boweled and features 17 tracks of brutality
courtesy of: The Nads, Din-Addict (Hungary), Fuck The Facts, Crack Sandwich,
Endless Struggle (Singapore), False Lead, Skinfish, The Donner Party and
Burnt Beyond. You can get a copy at any show announced on the Slaughter
House Records website for $5.
-The
Nads "Fifth Anniversary Live" CD: Released in April 2003 DIY. NADS-CDR-007.
It includes 16 live tracks of The Nads fifth anniversary show live in Cornwall
on July 21st 2002 with the Millennium Project and No Other Way at Murphy's
Inn. There are bonus cover songs, including a Misunderstood? cover, and
a track of the first time The Nads CD was ever played on CKCU radio in
Ottawa. This is a low-fi album that documents the live show with the star
guitar. A few years later The Nads would play live in the studios of CKCU
and produce a high quality CD.
-Kick'em
While They're Down Vol. 2 Comp CD: Released in April 2003 and pressed
at Healey Disc. The compilation features: The Nads, along with bands like
The Queers (Lookout, Hopless Recs), Dwarves (Epitaph Recs), Moral Crux,
Ripcordz, Dayglo Abortions, Riptides, District 7, Regulars, Vapids, Transit,
and a total of 31 bands and over 75 mins of punk rock! The Nads song on
this CD is "Joey Ramone". Indie Pool is distributing the comp CD across
Canada, and you can also order the C.D. online at InterPunk. The May 2003
Exclaim Newspaper ranked the CD at #35 that month. Thanks to Goblin Records
and The Riptides for helping The Nads out, it is a dream to be on this
CD!
-The

-Ghetto
Blast Comp Compilation CD: Released in June of 2002 DIY. It features
The Nads song "Joey Ramone"; along with Fuck the Facts (Ottawa), Dysmorfic
(Italiy), Goldar, CuntGrinder (Germany), Kadaverficker (Germany), Gramd
Facade (USA), and Mersrine (Montreal). A total of 8 artists perform 13
songs in about 20 mins. The comp features mostly metal, grindcore, and
hardcore music. The Nads synth style really sticks out on this already
crazy and amazing comp CD. Thanks to Topon of Ghetto Blast Records for
getting me on a CD with international bands!
-The
Nads "Joey Ramone E.P." CD: Released in March 2002 DIY. NADS-CDR-006.
It features songs that have appeared on CU comps, on my website, on the
radio, and it also has previously unreleased songs too! The album is a
tribute to Joey Ramone, and hence the song "Joey Ramone". It also features
an unreleased track entitled "Jello Biafra vs. Tipper Gore", as well as
the Pinanosaurus Rex song "Poetry in Motion". The C.D. is E.P length at
about 15mins, and has a lot of my best material over the past two years
featured on it. The C.D. Release Party was in Ottawa at the Underground,
and that was the night I met Meagan Butler. Meagan helped get my CD played
on the radio, and she got me some future shows.
-The
Cornwall Underground Comp Vol. 2 CD: Released in August 2001 DIY. NADS-CDR-005.
Bands not featured on the first C.D. but on the CU2 are Nevergreen, Korruption,
Misunderstood?, Mofo, etc. The Nads song on this CD is TrenchCoat McCarthyism.
This album took 2 weeks to sellout, and Misunderstood? organized the show
that functioned as the C.D. Release Party! Thanks to Neil of Point of No
Return, Julie, and the sponsorship of Melody Music and Orbit Skateshop.
Also special thanks to Shawn & Mellisa for helping to "package" the
c.d.'s. This C.D. has higher sound quality, more bands, and more secret
tracks.
-Pianosaurus
Rex "Hardcore for the Whole Family" CD: Recorded in March 2001 DIY.
The Pianosaurus Rex album features an all star band of no stars! The lead
singer is Jason Ramone of The Nads, the keyboard player is David Moon from
Instant Ninja, Phil Bennett of A Smile for Weakness is on guitar, and Alex
Loveday of Bullet Train is on drums. Alex came up with the name "Pianosaurus
Rex", so it is really his band. Pianosaurus Rex has been described as a
sick sounding version of The Doors. This 4 song E.P is from our first band
practice EVER! The Pianosaurus Rex song "Poetry in Motion" appears on The
Nads "Joey Ramone E.P", and Jason Ramone turns "Emo Boy, Emo Girl" into
a Nads song when the band breaks up. In 2004 Pianosaurus Rex reforms with
a couple of original members and is a completely different sounding band.
-The
Nads "Rotten Apples for Harris" CD: Released in March 2001 DIY. NADS-CDR-004.
The album cover has Jason Ramone (with rotten apples in hand), with Chirs
Wattie, protesting a visit to Cornwall by Ontario premier Mike Harris.
This C.D. has 14 tracks, plus a bonus track, an entire Nads concert live
at Murphy's Inn. The songs are recorded at a higher sound quality.
Phil Bennett composes the guitar and drums on three of the tracks. Songs
included are: I'm not a Gee-Gee, Gap Girl, Project Truth, WTO Protest Song,
Rock N' Roll Wesley Willis, Ontario Uber Alles, and much more!
-The
Nads "Old School" CD: Released in November 2000 DIY. NADS-CDR-003.
This CD has 35 old school songs. Including original versions of Soccer
Mom, Chop Chop UFO, etc. on acoustic guitar (remixed from original cassettes
demos between 1997-1999). It also has cover songs from the Nads 1999-2000
cassette, Saturday Night Fever, as well as unreleased tracks, and live
tracks, and bonus demo tracks from the Nads new blue "star guitar". Any
Nads fan will still get a good kick out of this album.
-The
Cornwall Underground Comp Vol.1 CD: Released in August 2000 DIY. NADS-CDR-002.
There are 22 tracks from: The Nads, Punch N' Judy, Struggle, Obnoxious
4, Simon Richie Group, Third South, Recoil, Biomass, Danway, Ritual, Dead
as Dillenger, E.O.H, Division 104, Point of No Return, Freeway, Simulated
Bakon, Fneh, Proposition 9, Scoff's Revenge, Red Lemmings, Knights of the
White Padded Room, and Stalemate. The Nads song is "Soccer Mom". The secret

and myself helped to produce this CD.
-The
Nads "Demo" CD: Released in June 2000 DIY. NADS-CDR-001. This was my
first CD under Eat Your Veggies Productions. The C.D. has 19 songs including
such hits as Soccer Mom, Chop Chop UFO, and Mohawk Boy. Many of the songs
were created with a midi program called Jamming Keys. The quality of this
album is very low-fi, and like all my early CD's has a black and white
cover. Thanks to Rob for burning The Nads songs onto a CD.

album is very rare, like the Crazy Jay stuff, only a handful of copies
were made.
