11/20/99:
Oh yeah baby, almost seven goddamn months! Been busy.
John informs me firstly that he's had a son Jade (Congrats!) and has been on hiatus from the band. They've been writing new stuff, and apparently it's heavy! They're hoping to hit the studio sometime soon to throw down some tracks.
I'm going to try and update this puppy at least every two weeks (even if it's only show dates). It's like this webpage is my foster child I've been ignoring.
04/26/99:
No, I ain't dead. Fuck y'all (I kid). I've been away a while and now am back to report about your hardcore pals in RK.
First news, Jim and the boys are on the upcoming Dayglo Abortions tribute CD belting out Proud To Be Canadian. Click on the name to download a rough-cut MP3 of the tune.
In June the band goes on an Eastern Canada swing, so get the Hell out to the show if you live in Quebec, New Brunswick or any of the others on our mighty East Coast.
12/08/98:
Unfortunately kiddies I don't have much updates and it's hard to keep this up, but I did manage to update the show dates and will try to keep it up to date (every 2 weeks).
08/02/98:
Christ has it been almost 6 months? I've been so utterly busy. I have however kept up the show dates at least. Nothing new on
the band front I know of. I feel so uninformed ;).
03/20/98:
Wow, it's been a long time since I updated. I just updated the
show dates today. I haven't really heard from the guys lately,
but I'm hoping on April 24th to catch them at the El Mo (I know,
I've said it before...). Am currently seeking out links about
the guys.
01/01/98:
Happy New Year. Unfortunately I never did get to that show I mentioned so I won't be able to do the review. Updated the show dates.
In other news, I've decided to do a small montly feature on other local bands. You may have noticed it on the main page. If you have a band and would like to be featured contact me. And please check it out and let me know what you think, there are cool bands just like the killing out there.
12/08/97:
Just updated show dates, nothing major. Going to see them on the 14th, will post a show review when I get the fuck back.
10/27/97:
John informed me of the following: "We do have a new drummer. It is Rob (ex-Hockey Teeth and current Jerry And The Final Thoughts as well as Random Killing). We are still a little shakey and only know about 25 songs but we are making steady progress. We haven't booked any of our own shows in Toronto yet. But we have been asked to play 3 shows in Toronto (we will play short openning sets to get Robs feet wet) and 1 headlining show in Coburg."
09/09/97:
Added review, soundclips and lyrics for "Stranded"! Fuckin' A!
The band are currently without a drummer, you think your man enough to take the reigns? Then visit their page (under linkage) and see if you can become part of the killing...damn I wish I knew how to play drums...
08/06/97:
Aren't going to review video because the band has no plans for releasing it
right now.

08/04/97:
Finally! September 5th is the official date for "Stranded"! Moved WebRings from title page to under "Linkage". Being lazy with reviews and
history pages, do it sometime this week probably. Updated show dates.
07/23/97:
Recieved a copy of their long-awaited video (by me anyway) "Take Our Piss" in the
mail, also enclosed was a more concise history of the band. I'll watch the video
to review it and enter the history sometime in the next week. Updated show dates.
07/18/97:
Just updated the show dates, nothing major.
06/28/97:
Added the final two questions to the interview.
06/18/97:
E-mail from Graeme Boyce (co-founder of Raw Energy) informed me that six
songs from the new CD are available on a Slovenian compilation (don't have
a title, sorry). He also said that depending on whether John has the art
done the band's new CD should be out the last week of July.
06/17/97:
E-mail from John (Geetarist) informed me of a few things:
"No offical date regarding the latest CD. But here's a scoup... Mike is quiting the band
(he really just came back to bail us out when Sean left - two and a half
years later). We've asked Sean (since Suckerpunch is history) and he is
considering the offer. I don't think this will be good news for a tour
this summer but we'll try."
Updated link to the official page cause it changed. Added "Discs/Videos".
06/10/97:
Had to resample the clips from yesterday due to some sort of code problem. They work fine now.
06/09/97:
Finally added the interview (thanks guys). Added the review for "Urine The 90s Now" plus soundclips from it. Added
a soundclip of "Stranded" from the upcoming new CD (taken from the compilation "On The Road Again").
05/20/97:
Updated current line-up on band pic. Working on getting the interview on-line; have two parts am awaiting the third.
05/02/97:
Added "Random" section today.
05/01/97:
Added lyrics for "Re-issued" and "Welcome...".
04/30/97:
The guys are close to finishing their new album which at the moment has no release date. A track
from the new release called "Stranded" (which can now be heard in soundclips) is going to be a
bonus track on the Raw Energy compilation "On The Road Again" which is due in mid-May.
Added reviews, added lyrics for "Thoughts Of Aggression", added soundclips, added links and
added tour dates.
04/29/97:
First day of this page being operational. Still working on entering lyrics, sampling songs and
getting all my shit together.
