Well Before Midnight...
.....and I am stealing some time to myself this mid evening while the overnight client and The Goddess watch a movie. I am, therefore, breaking routine by both writing on a Thursday, and writing early.
I am just full of surprises.
Today was not, really. Indeed, aside from Lowlandz locking himself out of his office and requiring some assistance, today was rather routine. And there really is nothing wrong with that.
It was another illustrious Spring day today; with a light wind and temperatures hovering around ten celcius, it was arduous to find the will not to cancel my clients today and spend the day soaking it all in. Perhaps I would have also gotten a jump start on the garden The Goddess and I plan to put in this year, too. Given the soupy state of the backyard, who needs a tiller? I am actually excited to get progressing on the yard; I have a vision in my mind of the asthetic the herbs and wild flowers are going to create, both outside and, after harvest, in.
I am sure Reekie and Moo will enjoy the fruits of our labour, too. We are purposely planting soaring herbs like dill, and tall, free flowing wild flowers expressly for them to romp in.
And I know exactly what you are thinking, Freda.
Don't worry, sweetie, I won't let them poop on the dill.
I spoke to dear Freda today after being out of touch with her for a while. It was nice. She accused my writing of giving her spring fever. All I can say is I like to share.
I know...enough about spring already. Fairly shortly I will be bitching about how hot it is....
