Dave's Blog

Saturday, August 23, 2003 12:28:54 AM We've had an exciting month, and there's still a week to go. There has been a blackout in the Northeast. There have been viruses galore. War erupted on a grand scale everywhere the U.S. press paid attention. And through it all, life has been good for me. I have moved to a nice part of town, near an upscale university. My job has been fulfilling, and it has provided me with the opportunity to learn new technology. The company I work with has money, and is still keeping its employees happy. I have unfailing direct deposit. The plumbing finally works right, the boxes are nearly unpacked, and we'll have a new refrigerator on Monday. My wife proclaims, "I have a millionaire mind," and she shows that she really means it. Our friends adore her openly. She has handled the move like a professional project manager. I am truly grateful that she shares her life with me. Thank you God, thank you Angels, thank you Margaret.
