Last major update: 07/09/04 ... 12.57am

Welcome to the GMastEr's realm of GURPS related information. This site is growing at a rate of several words per year, whenever I have time to work on it, so don't be surprised if you find some dead links. I'll fix them when I get round to it.

Be aware that this site is in a more or less constant state of hiatus, with updates occurring once or twice per year, and major updates even less often. At least all of the links go somewhere, or have been deleted.

NEWS

[09/03/09 12.07am]

Most of the more 'personal' comments from this News section have been removed.

[14/10/04 12.12am]

Geocities provides its webmasters with lots of useful tools it seems. After hunting through them I've made a couple of minor changes to the site... hopefully it will provide a more... accurate picture. In case you were wondering, this is a site about the GURPS roleplaying game - no more, no less. And definitely not about actual firearms.

[26/06/03 01.36am]

I checked the Messageboard and was surprised to find that there have been some messages published there. Of course, half of them were spam (i.e. the adverts). Well done to the people who made worthwhile comments.

[04/10/02 12.29am]

I've been looking at the statistics for the site, and some of them are really quite amusing... I wonder how many of you realise this is a website about a roleplaying game? Still, keep on visiting - at least it gives me some amusement every so often.

[21/12/01 1.16am]

GURPS Military has been renamed GURPS Mars, and soldiers on, with TWO sessions in one week! Can you believe it? In other news, I've decided to shut down the GURPS weapons ordering system.

[14/10/01 11.31pm]

I've updated this News table so it is *actually* a table rather than some badly formatted text.

[20/09/2000 4.49pm]

This site is now listed at Zero Kols Verified GURPS Resources Centre so you can see it there. Its also on the 'Top 25 GURPS sites' - go and vote for it now!

[11/06/2000 11.12pm]

Observant watchers of my site may notice that I have signed up with the GURPS Gear Head Ring

WHAT IS GURPS?

Well, most of you will know this already... but anyway...

GURPS stands for the Generic Universal Role-Playing System, published by Steve Jackson Games. Unlike most other role-playing games, and as its title suggests, it is somewhat generic, so it can be adapted to fit any genre. Coupled with a points-based character generation system, huge amounts of optional rules and a gigantic selection of sourcebooks to choose from, GURPS is one of the most flexible systems on the market.

GURPS Necromunda Conversion

GURPS Necromunda

This is the "acclaimed" and "legendary" conversion of Games Workshops tabletop combat game, 'Necromunda' (now out of official circulation), whispered across the 'net. This is the 'final' version, and is unlikely to be updated, so have a look!

CAMPAIGNS

I have ran many campaigns in the past, most of which are part of the "Core Six" campaign arc, which all interlink on the same timeline. The main anomaly to this is the Psionics campaign.

The campaigns are:

  1. MARS.

This campaign began in 1994, and ended around 2002. It still survives as a concept, and usually gets used as a 'cameo' setting in my other dimension-spanning games. It takes place on Mars in the 31st century. It is actually the third of the "Core Six" setting. Style: Military action / cinematic.

  2. TL8 Cyberpunk.

The second campaign, this took place in Los Angeles late in the 21st century. This is the second in the "Core Six" setting. Style: Action / Suspense orientated.

  3. TL8 Supers.

The third campaign, and it has taken place in Chicargo and South Africa, early in the 21st century. This is the first of the "Core Six" setting. Style: Was Action / cinematic, now Action / Adventure.

  4. TL11 Civilians.

A non-military campaign, this took place on Saturn in the 53rd century (about). This is the fourth of the "Core Six" setting. Style: Fairly mundane / suspense.

  5. TL12 Robots.

The original campaign lasted only a session, and took place sometime in the 100th century. The second attempt to restart it failed, and only lasted approximately 2 sessions, and was set sometime in the 53rd century. This is the last of the "Core Six" setting. Style: Action / adventure.

  6. TL9 Psionics.

This was the 'other' campaign that managed a quite decent run, and was not affiliated with the other games. Its second run took place in London, 2015, after a major Psionic Uprising. It has been restarted several times, with numerous iterations. Style: Suspense / investigation.

Weapons

Weapons and other such technology can be found here, shipped in via crosstime for your viewing pleasure.

Players

And heres some information about the players in my campaigns, so that they know that this is me, and I'm not someone else. Also, for maximum amusement of everyone else (only joking!).

Links

Here is the much-talked about Links page, which is in fact a replica of the original Links which used to sit here.
