Thanks to The Unspeakable One for helping me with this conversion, as he has vast Necromunda related knowledge stored in his head... plus he owns the books.
Necromunda, and all other things that sound like trademarks (except where otherwise noted) are a trademark of Games Workshop, and I am not trying to plagiarise them in any way. OK? Good.
This page does not deal with any of the specifics of the Necromunda system, such as the houses and any of their advantages, and so forth. This is due to the belief that all of the houses are the same, and just have different ways compared to the others. Thus, a Goliath isn't always phyiscally stronger than the next ganger, and a Van Saar doesn't necessarily possess high tech equipment...
This conversion just deals with the important information. I might at some point, attempt to deal with the intricacies of each house, but right now this conversion is 'basic'. Note that it also does not cover the Outlanders sourcebook, mainly because I did not have access to it whilst converting the game. If I get some time I might try to convert that as well.
Remember that these are only guidelines, and you should feel free to deviate from them as much as you want to. If you have any major problems, then mail me!
Points | Disadvantages | Quirks | Tech Level | Starting Cash | Automatic Advantages | Automatic Disadvantages |

Remember that this is a role-playing game, and not a tabletop wargame, so most of the boardgames restrictions do not apply, such as "You can't use this weapon" or "You can't move more than 4 inches whilst running".
GANGER - The most common type of character, a ganger is affiliated with one of the 6 houses, Goliath, Cawdor, Escher, Orlock, Van Saar or Delaque. Gangers normally employ any of the Basic, Pistol or Hand to Hand weapons, and others may use Heavy and Special Weapons.
JUVE - An inexperienced ganger, a juve is usually, but not always, a youth with aspirations of grandeur. They typically have lower skill and attribute levels than the average ganger has, but not always... (at least, not in GURPS) Juves tend to use Pistols and Hand to Hand weapons only.
LEADER - The big boss, the head honcho. A leader is basically the Ganger is charge - they call the shots and get the spoils. A leader character is recommended to have the support of his fellow gamers, or have taken Ally Group... Leaders typically employ Basic and Hand-to-Hand weapons, but may also use Pistols and Special weapons.
HEAVY - The Heavy is an experienced Ganger who knows the ins and outs of technology. They are the ones who operate the gangs heavy weapons, from Autocannons to Heavy Bolters, and fix them when they break down. Heavies are recommended to take Gunner, Mechanic and Armoury skills. As one might imagine, Heavies typically use Heavy and Sepcial weapons, but may use all types of weapon without restriction.
SCUM - Underhive scum are mercenaries who are not tied down to the life of a ganger. Scum usually use Pistol weapons only.
BOUNTY HUNTER - A bounty hunter hunts known felons for money. Bounty hunters use a variety of weapons, but never Heavy or special weapons.
RATSKIN - A ratskin is a nomadic tribesman who knows the Underhive backwards. They use the same kinds of weapons as the Bounty Hunter, minus Pistols as well.
Anything else - Best consult your GM first :)
All characters recieve a large knife for free.
Gangers pay double cost for Heavy and Special Weapons. Juves pay double cost for Basic weapons, and are not normally allowed Heavy or Special Weapons. Leaders do not usually bother with Heavy Weapons (thats grunt work!).
Scummers, Bounty Hunters and Ratskins purchasing their 'normal' weapons (see the Necromunda rulebook for details of these) can buy them at a discount price (1dx10% less, roll randomly per item).
