    Excellent ! The first time I heard a baritone sing this Italian song. A favorite of Gigli, it suited Dmitri's voice and he displayed real panache singing it in Italian.

        Very good. Dmitri is perfect for this role, his voice suits like a glove to this role. Of course, he needs more experience (I believe he never sang it on stage) in the role, but he had the right approach to it. His pietá, pietá, signore at the end was moving.
 

Russian song

    He then sang as his last encore, a Russian song a cappela. He could then display the full range of his voice, going up easily to a G and the bass range is exceptional.
