Takuya's mother has died, he needs to take care of his younger brother Minoru so that he won't feel lonely. Even though his friends asked him to play ball with them after school, Takuya insisted on going to pick up his younger brother.
When Takuya arrived to the day care center to pick up Minoru, Minoru was involved in a fight with another kid. The kid's mother said that Minoru hasn't been taugh proper manner by his mother, Takuya was angry at Minoru's behavior as well.
On the weekend, the father suddenly decided to have the whole family to go out. He even brought along a co-worker, Akihiro Fujii which he said Takuya and Minoru can think of her as mother for the day.
Even though Minoru and Akihiro get along really well, Takuya cannot accept her as a mother. Takuya does not want a mother for one day, but father told him to think about Minoru. Takuya is upset because father only thought about Minoru and he finally said, "I hate Minoru!" to which he regret.
Takuya had been very patient for his brother Minoru, there are a lot more things that he needs to have patience for since Minoru needs him.
