I think your site was very inspiring, attractive and informative. I am thinking about using it on my home page with your permission. As far as a gardening tip, you might mention using moth balls in garden rows to keep "varmints" away. Thank you I have enj yed visiting your site.

Interesting. Stumbled upon the site. Where I live is like gardening on the edge. Sometimes it is like gardening in the North while other times it is like gardening in the deep South. It confuses the plants and drives novice gardeners nuts.

Loved your site. Oh how I wish I could be a gardener ... but since I'm not, perhaps I could talk you into a little moonlighting. A trim here, a flower there and a glass of vino on the side.

Thank you for a very interesting and informative read. I especially like the way you have portrayed yourself starting your garden, there is always so much to learn. I too love reading gardening magazines books, as well as working in the garden. My favouri e one is called "Gardening Australia". magazine. Congratulations on a great site, from a fellow gardener far away.....Romaine.........

Delighted to find you on line. I have 15 acres recently acquired in south central Virginia Piedmont. Hot and dry in summer with soil that dries to the consistency of concrete. What does grow is quickly eaten by the deer and groundhogs, but I am slowly inding my place in the scheme and the hard pan is beginning to bloom. Other Piedmont gardners ideas and suggestions appreciated.

Just love your site. We love to garden and are fairly (3-4 years) new at it. We have raised beds for our vegetables and have really had good luck gardening in them. We also have a raised front flower bed that is quite nice. I look forward to checking back to your site often.
