Monsoon magic As we kept going up the mountains, Some of the sights that I saw, on the way were the best I have ever see in my life. Tiwari and Pillai had both brought their cameras but the heavy rains discouraged them from taking photos except in the ocassional dry spells (3-5 minutes). The mountains were lush green and the rains had filled them with waterfalls.... big and small as u can see in this photo. Two of the most memorable sights of this trip were (which unfortunately we could not capture, were) :-
A waterfall with the water going up in the reverse direction ie. defying gravity !!!. As the water was coming down the edge of the mountain, it was being driven up by the force of the wind and it would disappear in the form of spray.
As we kept climbing we were confronted by bigger and bigger mountains in front of us. But the visibility being poor, we could not see them for more than a few minutes. This created the most unusual (and beautiful) sight I have ever seen in my life. We saw a massive waterfall originating from the skies. It was as if the heavens had opened up and the waterfall was coming straight from Heaven. Its hard to describe it.

We had taken a lot of snacks with us, we kept munching and going higher and higher. After about 2 hours of upward journey, I started feeling tired, and asked tiwari how much more was left. He said we had not even reached half the way.
