 A Little Y2K Music

The toilets flush (or so I'm told)
The prisons shut, the crooks not bold.
The planes they fly
The reason why
Y2K's no time to die.

Pacemakers pace along today
The internet goes on its way
A puzzling quiz,
The reason is
Y2K's a great big fizz.

I still have heat and light and power,
Had I a tub I still could shower,
We are not dust,
We must adjust,
To knowing Y2K's a bust.

The world didn't end last night
Though some folks had an awful fright
A lesson learned,
As sense returned:
Y2K fears were better spurned!

Happy millenium to all!
