Protecting the Environment

The protection of the environment is not all an environment technologist works at. But it is a subject that people expects an envitronment technologist to know something about. It is. But protecting the environment is not only their field, many biologists, civil engineers and others worrk at it. There are also many 'ordinary people' without special training involved, because they have caught the interest and work through the various organizations to keep nature and their neighborhood in a senseful condition. As an environment technologist you will meet many of them.

When you think of protecting the environment, most people think of tracking down pollution and finding ways of limmiting pollution.

But it can also be about making people act more responsibly, and to not waste the resources, or start a good recycling system.

It can also be about finding a place for a motor bike track, where it don't bother too many people, or measuring whether it is making so much noise as they say. Same thing goes for a factory.
