Nature's Soul
Introduction
Many indiginous people, whose ancestors lived in harmony with nature for hundreds of years, know of 'The Spirit of Place'. It is not imaginary, it is real, and I urge you to experience it for yourself. If you have a forest, a quiet bush area or a natural grassland within close proximity to your home, make the effort to visit it soon.
On this occasion, go it alone. Find a comfortable site and sit in a comfortable position. Take a few slow, deep breaths. Close your eyes and relax. Now, listen to the sounds; the wind, the birds and the grass or branches of the trees gently moving.
Continue to breathe slowly and deeply. Take in the fragrance of the air as you do. Visualise each breath filling you with energy and vitality. By now you should be very, very relaxed. You should now be able to sense The Spirit of Place. Isn't it an amazing experience?

Take the opportunity to meet The Spirit of Place in as many quiet, natural environments as you can. You will begin to understand that you are a part of it, as it is a vital part of you.
