It's your band too...

Terry Tully (Pipe Major of Grade 1 band St. Lawrence O'Toole) has recently run his second 2 day seminar in Dartford for the band. Accompanied this time by Steve Creichton, his leading tip, Terry and Steve did an exceptional job while they were with the band, providing advice on a wide range of band topics. Pipe Major Gordon Mellay (Dartford) hailed the tuition as "magnificent, yet again". The band hopes to arrange further visits from Terry and Steve.
Previously, the drum corps has had tuition from Steve Hill, (drummer from world famous 78th Fraser Highlanders Pipe Band).
A good track record by any means.

If you're interested in joining the band, then please come along and visit us at The Conservative Club, Spital Street (opposite Kent Avenue), Dartford [Map] . The band meet every Monday and Thursday evenings from 8pm. The band is always keen to recruit new members who wish to join a competitive Pipe Band. Please get in touch before attending, as times may change.

During "term time", there is also a nearby "Piping Club", at Crayford Manor in Bexleyheath. The club meets at 1pm on Saturday afternoons in an informal atmosphere, and is an ideal way to start learning the practice chanter and pipes. Again, best to get in touch for term dates.
