These are some Necros' modules, selected by Multivac. All songs are commented. |
Revelation |
511 kb |
I think this is his best module. It has a wonderful sound and good melodies... can anybody ask for anything else? |
Tangerine fascination |
443 kb |
Showing a more electric and hard sound, this song went second on MC4, just bellow Pools of poison. I still can't choose between them. It sound as good as nearly all of his modules, and brings us some moments more brilliant than usually. |
Orchard street |
453 kb |
This was the last Necros module before he started to work on Origin. One of his best-made songs, but jazz isn't one of my favourite styles. |
Mechanism eight |
461 kb |
Its style makes me remember Prodigy. This song shows the Necros talent and versatility. He is able to compose good modules in many styles. |
Martian lovesong |
683 kb |
This song made the curse of Necros continue. It was second on MC6. Its style is similar the mech8 one, but its sound is more worked. Maybe the first time you will not like it, but you will also soon realize that it achieves the quality of all his modules. |
Ascent of the cloud eagle |
543 kb |
Winner of NAID'96. This module has a flute as main lead and shows some african sounding. |
Realization II |
285 kb |
With this module (version of an older one), Necros began to leave the composition of demo-styled songs. It showed the most realistic sound heard in the scene. This started a deep revolution on the tracking scene. The module itself sounds a little old now, similar to some Leviathan ones. Some people say that The crossing is really Realization III, so you can realize which is its real quality. |
The best you can do if you want to know Necros music is to download his wonderful music-disk Progression (its zipped size is 1946 Kb), where you can found these songs |
The crossing |
This outstanding module reached the second place on MC3 (yes, second, MC is probably a traumatic experience for him). It's got an acoustic guitar very good finished and a fine melody too. Recomended. But I must recognize that this is worse than the winner, the orchestral Kingdom skies. |
Collage |
This song has the same style of The crossing or Revelation, but its sound is more complex (because of its greater number of instruments). However, it isn't as good as them. |
Point of departure |
A techno song, best as background music. Nice. |
The grey note (live) |
The applauses gives the sensation of being in a jazz club, hearing a jazz band. |
Metroplex |
Another jazz module, less brilliant than the previous one. |
Isotoxin |
One of the strange futuristic-electronic experiments that Necros makes sometimes (like Energia or Shadow Caster). It's well done, but I think this style is rather boring. |
