I love to travel and if I get the chance to, I go.

For example my two trips to the U.S. in 1999.
I play this game over the internet, called LegendMUD, and the people playing there had arranged a meet in Detroit, Michigan, and invited everyone. I really wanted to go but I didn't have very much money. Eventually my mother took pity on me and offered to pay for my ticket so I would stop talking about it endlessly. But I was not about to go to the states for just one weekend so I talked to some other people on the same game around the country and my itinerary was set to: Atlanta, Georgia then Tucson, Arizona followed by Portland, Oregon and finally Detroit, Michigan.

I had such a good time in the states and met a whole bunch of wonderful people in real life that I had already known from the Internet that when two of them asked me if I wanted to spend New Years Eve in New York with them I only hesitated for two minutes before saying: "Sure!"
Most people thought we were completely insane to want to stand out on Times Square at midnight on December 31 1999, but we were confident we'd have a good time - and we did!

In the spring of 2000 I had the opportunity to go to England as an assistant to my mother, who had to go there with her schoolclass of 20 17- and 18-year-olds. I jumped on it, mainly for the free trip there and I figured I could stay on a little longer than the students - which I did.
I stayed for another week in Yorkshire, mostly in York, and managed to take a few photos there. I had arranged to meet up with yet another person I know from the internet (Darren) who acted as my guide there.
If you would like to surf up info on York I found one link for you.
