Allen Iverson was born in the projects of Hampton, Virginia, on June 7, 1975 to a 15 year old mother. There were days without electricity, water, or food stamps. Allen never saw his biological father. Iverson was an amazing athlete, in high school he was the star quarterback and the star point guard for Bethal High School. He led the school to State Championships in both sports, and won the Virginia High School player in both sports. The first time Allen dunked was during a regulation game when he was 15.
