The Early 90's - The Pontiac Years

Winner of the 1991 International Race of Champions (IROC) Championship

In 1993 at Talladega, Rusty went flipping end-over-end and rolling down the front stretch. There was little left of the car.

Rusty won 10 races that year, a career high. He finished 2nd in the Winston Cup points standings.

1994 saw Rusty come back with 8 wins, this time in a Ford.  But even a Winston Cup Champion needs a little luck sometimes!!!
