i notice this trend about myself, i'm on this mood cycle that goes up and down [yes, that's what it means to be a cycle, duh] so i don't usually stay depressed for a long time. the day after i start being on the "up", something would happen and i become very very happy, very quickly.

like today.

i sound like such a materialistic girl, don't i, but i received gifts in the mail today. a lot of gifts!

first, there's the stuff from delias from my rgs friends, who were the intended audience for my delias wishlist, by the way. poach started first, she's always told us exactly what she wanted for her birthday with her wishlists on amazon.com or delias.com. so this year i followed the lead, and they promptly bought the stuff for me. this, i expected, since i stupidly checked my wishlist yesterday and found out that more items have been purchased. i'm just surprised it came so quickly. *beam beam beam*

i also realize my rgs friends didn't buy all the items on the wishlist that i thought they bought. besides the top that raymond bought, there're still a few more unaccounted-for items. and i think i know who bought these items, i'm about 99% sure. suddenly it all makes sense...and i imagine they must be trying to surprise me, i shall be surprised, i guess, since i don't know when they bought it and so i don't know when the items will arrive. or there's in fact also that 1% chance that i'm being presumptuous. no matter what, now i have more delias stuff to look forward to!

i realize the charm of having a wishlist. haha.

but that's not all...mr postman is honestly my best friend today. he also bought me a package from donny. my fushigi yugi vcds! my gosh, i've been waiting so long to watch them i think i'm going to hyperventilate this very minute just thinking about popping that vcd into my disc-player. as promised, donny also got me vcds of other shows that he thinks i might like. coincidentally, one of them is il mare which i just watched a few days ago, so great minds think alike, it seems. hehe. he got me battle royale, whiteout, and saint seiya. except battle royale, i don't know what the other shows are about. so this is a complete adventure for me. i'm really excited.

the last treasure in the mail today, is a card from jinghua. i thought it was going to be a birthday card, i was quite pleased that he remembers, not to mention being early too. but when i opened the card, it wasn't what i expected at all. it's a instead a "please feel better" card, i'm guessing my journal here's made him feel really sorry for me, so he decided to send me a card to cheer me up, and to offer some advice. gosh, i felt so touched reading his words, just to know that he cares enough to send me a card is enough to make me feel a lot better. at the end of the long card message, he wrote, "sorry for torturing you once again with my handwriting." my friend, i don't mind at all.
