He has been an excellent Editor of our Bulletin since 1999, which went on improving in quality and today ranks as one among world’s best! And the beauty is that he will continue to bring out issues from France in spite of his professional responsibilities.

But what is most impressive about Ambar are his very fine qualities as a human being. Very sincere, affable and helpful, his sense of duty and integrity is exemplary. In one of our games in the AICCF Championship 1505, he resigned to my surprise rather a bit too early, saying, ‘In the long run you would have won’, thereby saving me hours of night-long analysis. This shows his sportsmanship!

With his dynamic wife, Urmila by his side, AICCF will scale yet greater heights. We wish him all the best and may he rise in all spheres of life.
