The Russian Women's Boxing Team

Apart from Sonia Koloff, the Russian Women's Boxing Team is trained by master coach Sergei Kalashnikov (a pseudonym for the person who wrote our computer simulation) The Russian team occasionally fights tournaments against the WEBA welterweights and lightweights and its top boxers also take on the WEBA stars for the high-prize-money World Welterweight and Lightweight titles.

 

Here's the whole Russian boxer lineup!

Nina Dmitrieva:
Middleweight


Big, strong, very rugged, but not great skills. She's a tough brawler who expects to fight only the biggest A League boxers, "unless some little girls feel lucky."

 

Vera Kosakova:
Super Welterweight


This big power-punching slugger is ready to test the chins of some WEBA boxers! She says she'll start with newcomers and work her way up!

 

Anjelika Andreeva: 
Lightweight


Hard punching boxer, relies on quick start to overwhelm opponent. Strong record against top WEBA lightweights, she won the World Lightweight title in 1998 but has recently been eclipsed by her countrywoman Ursula Sabelina.

Kallista Turkova:
Lightweight


Scientific boxer, moves well, good defense and an accurate puncher, Kallista does not have much power.

Tanya Popova:
Welterweight


This hugely aggressive puncher from Novosibirsk throws many wild haymakers and is quick to anger. She is now working on her endurance. "Terrible Tanya" has brawled with all of the top WEBA welterweights and has been in a running duel with Hellcat Heather Corrigan for the World Welterweight belt!

 

Natasha Kharlamova:
Welterweight

Rugged slugger, usually fights dirty!

 

Sonia Koloff:
Welterweight

hard punching slugger fights in the WEBA and has held the regular welterweight title, Sonia is known for her rough tactics

 

Ursula Sabelina:
Lightweight


Her name means "Little Bear".

Very aggressive and strong boxer with good ring skills, she has beaten every WEBA fighter who's faced her so far, except Tina Boppa, who has twice won the World Lightweight belt title from her! Ursula has wins over Pam Chai, Cindy Lee and Val Henning, and once defeated Transam Lottaporn in a grudge match!

 

Anya Averina:
Welterweight


Hard punching slugger

Anya wants to kick butt of some WEBA boxers! She knocked out Jeanette DeCarlo and Cindy Lee when they were in the B league and had a points win over Crazy Claire Freeman

 

Raya Fersova:
Lightweight


Powerful slugger, very aggressive, but not much endurance

She has lost to Pam Chai, Tina Boppa and Val Henning.

 

Irina Moiseeva: 
Lightweight


Accurate puncher, throws lots of combinations, but weak chin.

She struggled against WEBA B League boxers and will only take matches against the lower-ranked WEBA fighters!

 

Nadya Lebedeva:
Lightweight


A fast punching boxer with moderate strength, fights very clean, she is also a sportswear model!

Nadya had success against Cyan Locklear, Chi-Chi Venezia, Jeanette DeCarlo, and Silke Leong in their B league days but has lost to Cindy Lee and Belinda Filipelli.

 

Elena Litovka: 
Featherweight


Hard punching boxer with good defense.

She knocked out Cyan Locklear and Carolyn Smith despite their weight advantage and also KO'd Elysha Armstrong. She also managed a points win over Claire Freeman before Claire moved up into the A League.

 

Tatyana Adamova: 
Featherweight


Athletic, fast boxer with good defense and speed.

Her losses mostly came to novice welterweights. She knocked out Cyan Locklear twice, but lost on points to Elysha Armstrong.
