Game 1 - Blackhawks vs. the Ducks
The two time defending champs started a new season the way they left off with a win against the Mighty Ducks. This was a new team and the players and coaches did not know what they were up against. The Ducks scored the first goal of the game but Zak Piccoline had other ideas as his play inspired the rest of his teammate. Zak score a hat trick in the first period, two which were assisted by last seasons assist leader Steven Alfano. John the "Rocket" Talamo also score two, one which was from a great pass by Jeff Lewis. After one period the game was never in doubt with the score 5-1. Alan Barnstead, Sean Daudelin, Zak and Brian Argenzio made some adjustments on defense to stop the Ducks.

The game marked the return of two time Blackhawk Mark Powell. Mark contributed with two goals. More solid play by Tyler Belostock, Nicky Micciulli, Jeff Lewis, Matty Gumina, helped the Blackhawks get their 20th victory in a row.
Game 2 - Blackhawks 4 - Jaguars 2
The Blackhawks won their second straight game this season to stay undefeated and in first place by beating the Jaguars 4-2 in a rematch of last seasons championship game. The Jaguars got on the board first on a shot by Micheal Shaughnessy (GREAT JOB MIKEY--FRANK). It looked like it might be a long day for the Blackhawks since they were minus the "Rocket", Johnny Talamo until Nicky Micciulli blasted a wristshot in for the first of two to tie it.

Sean Daudelin shot another wrist shot for a 2-1 lead in the 2nd period. Nicky Micciulli score his second off a Steve Alfano miss to make it 3-1, but the Jaguars stayed alive on a shot by Tim Black to make it 3-2.

Brian Argenzio who playing better & better each game scored his first of his career to make it a 4-2 final. Great game by Alan Barnstead who is one of the best defensive players at any level and Zak Piccoline and Sean Dauldelin shut down the hi scoring Jaguars. Ralph Mazzoni, who also has made great improvements made incredible saves all game long.

Tyler Belostock, Matty Gumina, Jeff Lewis, Timmy Johnson and Nicky Micciulli stepped it up a notch to make it a team victory.

Game 10 - Championship game
They did it again!!! The Blackhawks completed a three-peat with their third undefeated championship season in a row. Since the spring of 99' the Blackhawks are 41-6-3 and making the championship 4 of the 5 seasons they've played.

It didn't start out so good as the Jagaurs scored twice on the first shift of the game to give them a commanding 2-0 lead. But the best player in the league, John "the Rocket" Talamo has other things in mind like scoring the first of his game high 5 goals to cut the lead in half, 2-1. Two minutes later Nicholos Micciulli scored on a beautiful one timer to tie the score to end the first period on a high note. But the Jaguars would not roll over and scored again to take a 3-2 lead. The rocket man score 2 more to take the Blackhawks into the third with a 4-3 lead. Sure enough the Jaguars tied it at for but that's as close as they would get as Tyler Belostock scored and the Rocket scored numbers 4 & 5. for a 7-4 lead with minutes left.

Aside from the scoring, the key to the victory was Ralph Mazzoni the goal keeper who was at his best. Coach Ed says he is getting better game after game.

Alot of credit has to go to the defense lead by Sean Daudelin, Alan Barnstead, Jeff Lewis and Tyler Belostock. Great job guys. The team play has been incredible lead by next seasons Captain, Zak Piccoline, Steven Alfano, Nicky Micciulli, Brain Argenzio, Mark Powell, Matty Gumina, and Tim Johnson.

Congratulations Blackhawks on this great accomplishment.
