IT Center coming up at REC Campus with a RDBMS, ECAD & Multimedia Lab. REC has already procured the necessary hardware & software. IBM's  RS/6000 SP running AIX will mainly be used for Digital Library, Courseware development & Web based learning. The IT center has a Dell 2300 Power Edge Server with 27 GB HDD / 256 MB RAM running Windows NT 4.0 Server. The IT Center also has 5 SUN Ultra 10 Servers with 8 GB HDD / 128 MB RAM running SUN Solaris 2.7.  There are totally 100 clients - Intel Celeron 300 MHz / 4.3 GB HDD / 32 MB RAM running Windows NT 4.0 Workstation.
