Ted's Cottage May 2-4 2002

Finally got out of Mississauga around 2PM on Saturday. Had a mini-crisis upon realizing that we forgot to tape the final episode of Survivor. (Crisis was averted with a quick cell phone call.) Highlights of the drive up included a "Rubble Wanted" sign, and lunch at Super Burger. Set the tent up asap, cracked a tasty beverage, and joined a game of cards. This would set the tone for the weekend! I have not played so much cards since highschool!

As the evening progressed we set up for a game of 'Killer Kings' which was good fun. I spent a round or two as the... ahem... beer fetcher :) and videographer... Hopefully the video is not too bad. Other great Killer Kings moments included Naidoo getting whacked upside the head repeatedly, merciless mocking of Naidoo and Gill (but its ok, cuz I hear they're nice guys) and Bob constantly spilling his drinks all over himself... Topics: 80's Television Characters, towns in Manitoba, and many a naughty one.

Wow was it cold at night! Sunday. Breakfast at Grandma Magees, Leafs Game at Dave's (?) Gil and Ted are water skiing maniacs... Now that's Canadian - Water skiing in a toque. Jer drives his divet farther than the ball... Ray tries to kill the fish with the crossbow. Campfire... Happy Birthday Brian! Roger - Just wear your friggin seat belt already!!! Barney wussed out and slept inside Sunday night. The real men and women roughed outside again!
