To the best of my knowledge, I am the first to notice that the "Moqui Marbles" occasionally contain organic material like this earthworm that was tossed up with the sand on impact, then coated and drawn into the sphere with other grains of sand. Body fats and salts [white material] were deposited a short distance from the skin. Carbon Fourteen dating should tell us precisely when they were formed.

When I first picked this rock up, loops of the worm were still intact. I pulled them off thinking it was foreign matter that had attached after the rock broke. The flesh was dry and "rubbery."
