A Naked Geode
This small opal filled geode belongs to Bob Rollins, and is originally from Mexico. Sorry, I don't know the exact location.

note the "
dimple" that shows where the "Large Plate" and central sphere was attached, the "pimple" where the small plate was [and where the central sphere was pulled out from], and the areas the side plates filled.

There wasn't a lot of impurities between the original lussitie needles, so the inner cavity of this geode is large in comparison to most geodes.

I had two geodes with the same exterior shapes right down to the same small face, except one was smaller than the other. I removed the shell from the small one and drew a black line on both top show where the "dimple" is.
