THE FAIRWAY BUNKER SHOT

Hit the ball cleanly in fairway bunkers. The goal is to hit the ball before hitting the sand.

TIPS:
  • Shift your feet into the sand for stability.

  • Choke down on the club, which means you need to take one club more than normal.

  • Keep your right shoulder high through the hitting area , dropping your shoulder causes you to hit the shot fat - the worst result when playing in a fairway bunker.

  • Take enough loft to get out, and swing within yourself, nice shot Johnno!!!
