In 1996, I was fortunate to abe to study there, in Copenhagen, for one year, and, although I knew I travel during that year, the number of places I visited were beyond expectation. (I suppose you have to take advantage of a good thing) Denmark was close enough to "the continent" (as we North Americans tend to refer to Europe) to make transportation costs inexpensive. My round trip bus/ferry trip to Berlin was equivalent to $50 Canadian dollars (which is no powerful currency). It was also that year that I met my partner, the charming Mari Katsui, who happened to be a travel addict as well, except even moreso.
The following places are some of my favourite places in the world. Not all were visited during the Danish stay, though most were. There is nothing better than meeting international friends, then visiting them afterwards. (What are friends for?) Hope you enjoy the photos.
One of my hobbies is traveling. But it hasn't always been that way. I would say it was after my first trip to Europe in 1989, visiting relatives in Denmark, that I became curious about the world in a significant way. And that trip left me wanting to see more ever since.
