I had heard many stories about Prague, how cheap it was there to eat and how beautiful it was. The latter is truer than the former. It was a grueling 15 hour (yes, 15 hours!) bus ride to Prague, but I managed to survive.
The city is certainly gorgeous, very "painterly", like Venice. Charles Bridge, with its looming statues, is both huanting and serene. This photo (which I am very proud of) is of the Cathedral in the town square. A most spectacular sight in the evening.
