In normal or extended consciousness we are confronted by an abyss which we must cross in order to attain full consciousness.
Our ultimate goal could well be to cross this abyss and fulfil the transition. This goal can stretch to the limits of our understanding and all minor goals can be seen in relation to this ultimate goal.
Finally we will attain this goal for there is infinite time and there are many lives in which to achieve it.
There is only one line passing through all living beings. Assisting other living beings in their transition will help our transition. Destroying other living beings will impede our transition. Entering into conflict with other living beings will impede our transition.
Throughout many cycles of the universe we come closer to achieving our goal of crossing the abyss. At the end of the last cycle we have crossed the abyss and are finally united with partner, family and group, to sit together at the table and participate in a glorious feast for eternity.
Transition is not an emotional state; emotions, like desires, failures, weaknesses and inhibitions, are the roots which hold us in place on this side of the abyss and must be overcome or integrated (not suppressed) before we can complete our journey.
