The Subject seeks to cross the abyss by means of improved self-consciousness, correct life style and correct handling of the family and group.
The EG and Subject are pledged to mutual support and physical fidelity. There is only one EG. The EG should if possible reside in the same place as the Subject. They should meet together for at least half an hour at the end of each day preferably at a fixed time. On this occasion they should give full attention to one another and to important matters of the day, and the meetings should if possible end in harmony.
A CTP may receive all information from the Subject without the danger that it will be misused, misunderstood or passed to others with risk of misuse or misunderstanding. There may be more than one CTP at a time.
A Guide assists the Subject's progress towards transition by virtue of his/her improved consciousness or spiritual links in certain directions not possessed by the Subject. There may be more than one Guide. Each Guide knows about the others (if not by name) and the admission of a new Guide requires the consent of the existing Guides.
The Family members are connected to the Subject by blood- or EG-relationships (or a combination). They have a mutual responsibility to assist, if possible, and not obstruct, each other's progress towards transition. Family members resident in the same place should endeavour to eat together at least once a day preferably at a fixed time. On this occasion they should give their full attention to one another and to the food and drink, and the meeting should if possible end in harmony.
The Group is a collection of people for whom the Subject has assumed a responsibility to assist their progress towards transition. They may be linked to family relationship, membership of a study class or work group, common residence etc.
TVS people are those to whom the Subject deems necessary to give a small amount of information in order to explain his/her behaviour etc. The dosage of information is very carefully planned and if necessary noted in an administration.
