The Axioms were revealed to Piers Clement in March 1995, in the form of texts in a secret writing which was subsequently decoded. After decoding, the texts remained unchanged apart from minor editorial updates, and the version dated October 25th 1995 can be considered definitive.

Due to the requirement, stated in the Axioms, to reveal truths only to Completely Trusted Persons (CTPs) who can be relied upon not to misuse or misunderstand the information, the original texts were originally only made available to a selected few. However in December 1997 it was determined that the simplistic philosophy detailed in the Axioms could be made generally available without the possibility of ill effects due to misuse or misunderstanding.
