http://www.poetrymagazine.com
This is THE most prestigious avenue for poetry publishing in the United States and has been since 1912. Now available on the WEB, it is the place to find the works of poets who will be remembered and enjoyed beyond their years.
As much as I don't like offering a page of links, this one is worthwhile. The page doesn't overwhelm you with links, but it is selective and puts up some that I think you will find very useful.
Spam Haiku

This is THE site for the Spam Haiku. Didn't even know it existed, huh? Try it, you'll like it. (The Haiku that is)
Science Fiction Haiku
http://www.crew.umich.edu/~brinck/poetry/manifesto.html
I love this site and its various links! The haiku is very high quality and a wonderful match between an ancient form and modern or future thought.
Golden Age Spanish Sonnets (with translations!)
http://ingber.spanish.sbc.edu/SonnetTexts/Sonnets.html
I think you'll find many of these poems useful for your poetry project. If not, I'm sure you'll let me know!
The Poetry of Elias Letelier
I must admit that I am not familar with this Chilean poet who is living in Canada. However, his poetry is available in English,French & Spanish, so you should find this page helpful.
