Welcome to the Ilokano Ring

The Ilokano Ring (established in early 1997) is a ring of Web sites by, and for, Ilokanos in the World Wide Web. It is an attempt to unify all Ilokano sites in the cyberspace to build a virtual Ilokano community in the internet.

Joining the Ilokano Ring

Step 1:

Register your site by filling in this form. (Note: This does not automatically put your site in the ring, it just makes your page known to the Ilokano Ring Ringmaster, who will then assign you a Site ID Number.)

Step 2:

Step 3:

Cut and paste the HTML code below into your page. This a requirement for your site to be a legitimate member of the Ilokano Ring and for the Ring to function properly. If you paste the HTML code to another page than the URL you submitted, please email the Ringmaster the URL of that page.: Just be very sure to:; 1. Change the mailing address to your own; 2. Change the owner name to your own; 3. Change the Site ID to your own; 4. When using frames, remember to add target="_top" to all your references to remove the frames before the viewer proceeds.

IMPORTANT: Please be sure that your page has the above required HTML fragment for the Ilokano Web Ring to function properly. Without it, the Ring's circulation will be broken. Failure to paste the required HTML code will cause your site removed from the queue or from the Ilokano Web Ring list.

Step 4

Email the Ringmaster. In the body of your email, please mention the name of your website, its URL, your email address and a brief description of your page. Include also the URL of the page where you have pasted the Ilokano Ring HTML code.

After steps 1-4 have been completed, and you have been accepted into the Ilokano Ring, the Ringmaster will email you a Site ID Number which can be entered into the HTML code above wherever "id=______&ring=" appears. Remember to delete the "______" and replace it with your ID number.
