Jessie Lucille Nance

March 4, 1886- September 26, 1965

60th Wedding Anniversary

Note from George H. Nance, Sr.:

This picture converted from a black and white made in July 1965 so as to get the prints on paper accectable to the unknow artist who did the coloring.

When my grandmother died, my grandfather was devisated, yet it was only after her death that my grandfather started his interest in geneology because while making a memorial to my grandmother, he found out there was so little he knew about her family and his. The following web pages are not only a tribute to my grandmother but to my grandfather as well.

The memorial began with the following quote:

God grant me the serentity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
