is Naturism?

First it might be a good idea to explain just what is Naturism. But before you panic, I will say right here that it has everything to do with what God created and called "very good". "Nude" is how God created mankind in the first place.

First we will tell you what it is not.

It is not voyeurism. That is when someone stands there and stares at a nude person like he or she has never seen a nude body before.

It is not sex. There are more than enough sex magazines and sex clubs that are out there in plain view without having to sneak around and pretend. In fact, sex is the last thing on our minds. We are too busy doing other things.

It is not a cult. Cults are exclusive groups that have strange ideas about worship and have a leader that is very authoritative and the people will believe just about anything. We are multi/non-denominational Christian and Non Christian groups.

Ok, Ok, What is it already!?

Fellow Human Beings. Well, that does sound rather simple and obvious, but we do act rather shocked and dismayed at the sight of another Human Being don't we? To come up with a list is difficult because most of our problems are fears. In fact that is exactly what Adam and Eve did! We are created in God's image! We are His Temple. What more do we want? Why are we ashamed?

We appreciate nature. No, we are not "tree huggers". In a nude body, that does not sound so smart! Trees have rough bark. To take a nice long walk in the nude however, or rest, play and yes, even work in the nude and natural is very relaxing! However, we do respect the harshness of the sun and damaging effects on the skin. But the bikini wearers are in the same danger. We use sun screen. What a novelty!

We do appreciate Gods Image. We do appreciate what God has created, and the greatest thing that He created was an image of Himself. Are you ashamed of God's Image? Read the account of mans creation in Genesis 1:26 again. Do you find Gods Image offensive, nasty, perverted, unclean, shocking, and just plain Lewd? (Naturists thinks that word is funny, we like to use it for fun). See "God Said / Satan Said"

Its clean. Ok, so we get a little dirty when we work and play, but we do anyway with clothes. But our clothes are not there now to hold in the sweat, with muggy heat and cause bacteria and germ growth (*bleah!*). And since we are nude already, we find it easy to just walk right under a shower or water hose in the yard and rinse off. Walk off with the water still on your body if you want to, no wet clothes clinging, and you feel cooler, and cleaner. Let the sun dry you off, (solar dryer) it doesn't take long and our clothes don't get dirty and ruined. See "Ecologically Sound".

Naturism is healthy. Mentally and physically. What we say is "Get outside and get some fresh air and sunshine. It's good for you". What we really mean is, "Just cover up real good so the fresh air and sunshine will do you no good." If we do go nude, our bodies say's "thank you for the freedom, fresh air, sunshine and an opportunity to be relieved of all this stuffiness." Why do we use bikinis and bathing suits? To get as close as legally possible to our natural self as we were created. But why be offended at the creation of the image of God? Naturism is beautiful. Humans are beautiful. God is beautiful. Satan is not. Don't be unhealthy and ugly like Satan.
