Designing 
... products in India is difficult. Bagging an assignment is a luxury and seeing "it in the market" is somewhat of a miracle. I'm expected to play engineer, materials specialist, plastics technologist, vendor seeker ... all rolled in one. The flip side is that the more persistent of our breed finally do manage more than a working knowledge in almost every aspect of business -- including design!! 

In my career, I have become an expert 3D Studio visualizer by sheer doggedness. The above images are entirely modelled in the virtual world. I must confess that I do possess the old-fashioned design skills of sketching , rendering and modelling. In fact they're still first steps on any assignment. Since I run my own firm, I cannot get away from basic management and administrative duties, though they do not please me one bit.
