Many people have asked me whether, after over a decade
of design practice, I would consider offering myself for employment.
My answer has always been,
"Yes, if it offers new challenges ..."
At the moment, however, I might
consider it a poor second choice. The first is obviously the chance to
contribute to a multi-cultural
design exercise as a collaborative venture.
In my opinion,
it is important for all designers to interact with other cultures to enrich
their own design sensibilities and derive a truly trans-national
"hands-on" experience.
