31 December 1999 : Well, it's time to say farewell to the 20th century and bid welcome to the 21st century. Hopefully, the 21st century brings great joy to people all over the world and prove to be a better 100 years than the last. Tonight will be the night where the Y2K bug unleashes its terror. If things don't work out seamlessly, it will cause some people to think that the end of the world is near. I for one, do not believe that anything bad will happen during the turn of the millennium - (a word that has become so popular right now that the malay version is 'milenium').
Well, enough about all that. I'm sure you people out there will either be revelling, cowering or going mad and wild come midnight. I, however, will be using my computer and logging on to the internet in a usual manner. By the way, studies has been progressing well. I have started doing some programming in C++, Java and also Matlab. Things are going well for me and I hope it is for you too. Happy New Millennium and Happy New Year! If I feel like it, I might even introduce a new look to this website... What do you think?
Man it sure is going to be awkward writing '00' instead of '99' for future dates. Or will students be forced to write '2000' instead of just '00'?
This'll be the last entry of the millennium. Come to think of it, it's kind of a special edition. :)
