29 April 2000 : Oh my gosh?! Has it been that long? Er, for those who follow this section, my apologies. I have been utterly busy for the past few months and if not for my only fan who actually goes through this site, I wouldn't have updated it. :) Thanks Kah Fye.
A brief update on what I've been doing. I can't believe that I don't have much time at all. I'm involved in the ISS Web Site Workshop where I prepare all the notes for the course as well as teach learners. We actually had the second lesson today. I think it went well. For those who are interested, check out the site - ISS Web Site Workshop. Notice that 99% of the material was written me and was done in a relatively short period of time. Ah, you say, 'that explains why Erik hasn't been answering my emails'.
Also, I'm currently labouring on a project that's worth 40%. Basically, we are required to produce an online supermarket. Sounds interesting, eh? The only problem is that the programmers behind the project has got to crack their heads to make it come to life. And when it comes out, who will blame the programmers for a job badly done, the ungrateful customers, that's who.
It's getting too cold these few days. Currie Hall is so stingy that they are not going to switch the heating on until May. I know that we're paying less and all but can't the management think rationally for a moment. How can we study in such harsh temperatures. If you're wondering how bad it is, the temperature is going to dip down to about 7 degrees tonight. It was 5 degrees yesterday night and raining the whole day. Strong winds too. Hmm, and did you know that the Hall serves expired bread and jam? Neither did I. No wonder it was so easy to make long calls since I first came to Currie Hall.
By the way, it's nearly the end of the Easter Break now. Uni reopens on Monday. 'Study break' is over.
Oh, that's it for now. I hope this satisfies the few who actually browse through my web site. I've got to collect my clothes from the laundrette before they throw my clothes out of the drier. Hah, don't even have time to do laundry. Until next time...
God Bless.
