The Bajorans are a peaceful, religous culture/race. They have two sections of gods: The good gods, or the Prophets; The bad gods, or the Pah Wraiths. The Pah Wraiths are now trapped in some kind of weird spiratual place. The Prophets live inside the Bajoran Wormhole. The leader of the Bajoran people is called the Kai. The latest Kai as seen on the show, was the evil and demented, everybody hated Kai Winn. She died in a nice, firey death on the last DS9 episode. The Bajorans have been friends with the Federation ever since they agreed to vanquish the Cardassions off Bajor during the occupation. Now the Federation and the Bajorans have a very good relationship, and are very friendly to each other. A lot of the Bajorans work on Deep Space Nine, now in Bajoran custody, even though the Federation controlls and runs it. Deep Space Nine is a space station contructed by the Cardassions. It was called Terok Nor before the Cardassions left. During the occupation, the Bajorans had to work by mining ore for the Cardassions. The Bajorans have not been in any major wars except the one with the Cardassions. |
