The Cardassion Union is a brutal orgainization and race. Their military business and enjoyment is subjagating other races planets. Usually the race they are attempting to conquer isn't very strong. However, the Cardassion fleet does put up a good fight against the Federation, or the Dominion, or whoever may cross paths with them. Their only major enemy seen in the show are the Bajorans. The Cardassions made slaves of them, and were cruel. However, with the Federation's help, they supressed the Cardassions. In addition to their strong but brutal civilization, are a secret organization called the Obsidian Order. The faction of their empire, has many secret ships that are powerful and have skillful crew on board. The center of operations for the Cardassions is the Central Command. Here all trade routes, and military routes are watched, and recorded. Any ship leaving or entering Cardassia, their homeworld, has to go through the Central Command.  They have been involved in many wars. The big one was the Dominion War. They were allies with the Dominion until new leader Damar got fed up with being under Dominion rule, and allied with the Feceration.
