Travel Tales: Some Pictures and Memories

The Raleigh-Durham area is the leading center for pharmaceutical and biotechnology in the South of USA. The area’s strong educational resources (including Duke University and the University of North Carolina) and the Research Triangle Park formed in the 1950s paved the way for the transformation of the region’s traditional economy.

Raleigh-Durham attracted major investment from the government and from multinational pharmaceutical firms. A list of pharmaceutical and biotech companies in the Research Triangle Park area today reads like a Who's Who of the industry.

My first visit to the United States was in 2002.
Went to Raleigh in North Carolina

We stayed at Marriot Fairfield Inn.

And, we were there to offer our IT services to some of those Pharmaceuticals and CROs in the City.

Good business trip, however, did not get time to see much of the city
