WOOOOOWW! A Red a-ship! # people and a ship down at once. My strategy is to but my main outpost on either end of the spaceline and park the ship there, bringing 3 people and one bad ship down for the price of one bad ship. Where I play, there is a restriction of one Red alert, so this becomes one of the most powerful cards in my deck! 9.5/10

Finally a 8/9/8 ship that is overdue for the Klingons. It also (gratefully) has a captain! It may not be as fast as those other ships, but it sure has character (In terms of the weapons and the shields.) Nice ship (As it can withstand borg attacks at the outpost with no damage! 8/10 K’chiQ [AU] Civilian Killed in no Klingon Males or another K’chiQ at the same location. •Select any one skill when reporting or at the beginning of any turn. 6/4/7 Great card. It makes up for that Klingon… Lack of Exobiology, lack of Empathy, Lack of Engineers, lack of treachery. Can be changed!!! This is like that Vesuvian Doppleganger from Magic that everyone was talking about (and trading for)! 10/10

Another great card. There is a lack of Science, Medical, Cybernetics and most of all Exobiology! Whew, a real life saver! The best Klingon besides K’chiQ!

The Enterprise, new Romulan ship that has NINE shields (Not even the Decius has 9 shields). Just like the Enterprise, except with an official captain (I would let Captain’s log work with Picard, wouldn’t you?) and one less weapon. Great mission solver and very UN Romulan!!!!! Great one of a King card! 10/10

He has ther Romulan Trademarks (Treachery and Officer) but also has Engineer and Navigation as well as the Diplomacy Leadership combo. He is a well rounded Romulan and should be part of any deck with the Terix and Captain’s Log 8/10

Wonderful addition to any Romulan Deck! Great stats and rare skills. Archeology, Music, Medical, and Transporter Skill are all lacking in the Romulan Domain! The best Romulan in the entire Set! She also captains the Khazara!! Great Addition! 10/10

A wide variety of skills. He can pass secret salvage by himself and has two unusual skills thrown in. youthg and Trans Skill are neat, but worth little. Has fine attributes and a command star making him the best civilian next to K’chiQ.Tom Paris RUUULLLEEESS!

The only range 9 neutral ship! Tough crew requirement is made up for by captain’s log capability and high weapons. The special ability is not too useful, but nice against decks that use John Doe to support space missions and prevent one death each turn. A common Vor’cha might be better, but it is a klingon only and doesn’t use Captain’s Log. Perfect neutral ship!

A Picard for the rest of us! How cute! His low integrity and lack of Diplomacy x 2 is disconcerting as those were his best skills. Science is useful, but it is just a card made to look neat and be covetted by all of those Rommies and Klingons out there. Not too good 5/10

Fine card. VERY USEFUL is in a space only deck. Great against Menthar and Plague ships. Good addition especially if you want to make him into a Kevin uxbridge: Convergence by playing Transfiguration on him.

WONDERFUL CARD (Unless your opponent hopelessly attacking your outpost counts as battle). Federation never initiate battles and rarely strike back. Great for this. Can make the Easy Fed Mnissions worth 30 and 35 instead of 25 and 30, allowing the person to pass with only 3 missions! Great 9/10

Another of the rare branch of fedirats that have higher weapons than shields. Fine Card! Self Palor toffing is a great Advantage…if you ever allow it to die. The crew will go as well, so it is a big loss for one super-ship decks. OK

Gives a ship +2 to range and shields or an outpost +4 to shields Great card.

A poor man’s Data’s head that is playable from the first hand. It increases the range, enhancing the mission rate in the game. I really like this card!

Opinion Article: I believe that Q-continuum is a great expansion.

The personnel and ships are the best, but they seemed to put a lot of Q cards in. I don’t like the Q-cards because they barely do any damage to the opponent and just annoy the person. There are mainly common and uncommon Q-cards that are beaten by better common dilemmas like Punishment Zone and Hunter Gangs. I really thought that the Gift of the tormentor was a good idea, until I realized that it helped your opponent. The card gives you 100 points if you are at zero, referring to the opponent. It would work if you used "Are these really your friends, brother?. This gives you points that are in the opponent’s discard pile, like Barclays, or GIFT of the TORMENTER which would make you win. It is a rather far fetched idea, but it might work. I think that the best Q card is Punishment Box which captures someone until another box is out and then that person is removed from the game. It is ok, but it requires you to play with Q-flashes, which are a pain. I think that the Q-Continuum side deck is a waste of resources in a 60 card deck. You might as well put those proverbial punishment zones in instead. Plasmadyne relay and anti-matter pod were good ideas. The Antimatter pod damages the next ship to stop at the location without 3 navigation. Just set it at the enemy outpost! I think that this expansion didn’t have enough dilemmas and should have been more like AU which was stacked with great new dilemmas. Security precausions is of ok and Yuta is great if the wording is understood as if the number doesn’t match then the dilemma is not removed. Unfortunately I think that it is a typo or my mistake in reading the card. If not, why is it a rare anyway?I like the transporter Skill idea, but its application is rather limited. There is a great mission for Rommies and Klings! It is called: Samaritan Snare (Engineer + Discard one Equipment card) Federation Must attempt if present. [15]

Great mission why? If they are Federation, then one of three bad things happen… A) worst of all they pass the mission. They Lose a Medical Kit and that makes them not invincible because of those Genetronics they seem to stock. B) A well placed Borg ship will vaporize them right there. Goodbye, supercrew! C) They are stopped (can’t pass the mission) until another ship that can attempts and that results in (A) or (B) which is great for you. This is what I call a dilemission. It hurts whoever attempts it. Those poor Federation scum!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (Just kidding, I like the bridge crew… well not Wesely, or Dianna, or for that matter Riker …) Never mind! Q’s Tent is a very good card in the game! It provides a good side deck for all of those who MIIIGHT need a Wesely, or want 2 Red Alerts, or want (Maybe) this or that, but don’t have deck space. The drawback is the lack of drawing cards. This is fine if you are about to draw out! Fine addition to all of those people who like X-tra Palor Toff’s and other similar cards. All in all I think it is a great set. My recommendation is not to buy as mich of it as you did AU. Then you would be overloaded with Q-cont cards and would have no choice but put them into the side-deck. I’d say, buy at most 10 packs unless you have a gift certificate (I bought 12 w/ a $30 gift certificate) Send me an E-mail to rate the new Q-cards. Rate interesting ones, or ones that you don’t agree with me on in this magazine. The question of the ‘week’ will be "how do you like Q-con’t. Rate yourr favorite and least favorite cards!
