I think that this is TERRIBLE!!!I am a Klingon Player and there is no incentive to buy FC packs! Tell Danswerman to include Klings and Rommies BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE! I have noticed that Star Trek is really unfair for the Klingons and Romulans. Here are some of the MANY complaint letters to Danswerman! If you aggree with them, please send your E-mail to Danswerman to make this game fair again! I think that Decipher NEEDS TO CHANGE!!! It can't gfo on making the FEDERATION EVEN MORE POWERFUL THAN IT IS!!! The Klingons and Romulans NEED MORE POWER!!! Here are two sample letters from 2 of MANY angry players! Write your own. They will only change it if THERE IS A MASS NUMBER OF MESSAGES! Don't just turn your head and join the Federation, Help the game be equal!!! I know you won't like hearing this... but frankly, your plan for the future s*cks... for both of us. You don't realize that NEARLY 1/3 of the people who play ST:CCG (that is 1/3 of your profit) play KLINGON AND ROMULAN. I know they WON'T BUY PACKS THAT HAVE NO KLINGON OR ROMULAN PERSONNEL (Assimilated Klingons and Romulans) They always say that the customer is the boss.. Therefore you better tell whoever is in charge to include some Klingon and Romulan cards AND SHIPS so that you won't make 1/3 LESS PROFIT! I am no Ferengi, but I know that this is not good for you because you count on a certain profit margin. First contact will be popular, but there are some of us who don't switch affiliations because they have an expansion devoted to them or they are especially powerful. I have facxed losing 8/10 games with mild annoyance, but THIS HAS GONE TOO FAR! I don't think I made myself clear inmy last E-mail, but my friend E-mailed you on the same subject. FOR FIRST CONTACT MAAAAKKKKE Klingons. I think that a bunch of people will think the same way as I do... they will look at the Klingonless and Romulan lacking cardlist and say "Should I spend my $40 on THIS, or buy Starfleet Academy where I can FLY KLINGON SHIPS! 99/100 commited Klingon or Romulan players will make the same decision... screw ST. Please make SOME modifications to allow Klingons and Klingon ships (Vor'cha assault squads) I have a major complaint about Star Trek, balance of power. In Star Wars, the dark and light side are balanced. The dark side does or light side does not automatically blow to bits the other side. However, in Star Trek, The Federation entirely wastes, Klingons, Romulans, and any other thing except another Federation deck that you put up against it. The bridge crew is close to unstoppable at passing dilemnas. However Klingons can't beat dilemna for beamn. In Magic, each color has it's own pro and con, and there is a good reason to play more than one. In Star Trek there is no reason to play anything except Federation. Federation personell are unstoppable, Federation ships are strongly shielded so they can protect themselges against attack. Klingon's can't beat Federation, Romulan's can't beat federation. There is NO REASON TO PLAY ROMULAN OR KLINGON. In order to play more than one, you have to waste stupid deck space with treaties. If treaty was automatic like a doorway, people would have at least a chance to PLAY other affiliations. Personally games I play have degernated into interrupt/draw card wars. Packing a deck with 4 Kevin's, 4 Kivos Fajo, 4 Amanda's, 4 Q2's, 4 Palor Toffs, 3 Travellers, 2 Gentronic Replicators,4 Temporal rifts, and Bridge crew etc.. is a standard deck, betazoid. Opponet cannot move, You stuff them with interrupts. You get points from Sarjenka and draw out. It wins, it beats Klingon, because Klingon cannot destroy anything when they are rifted. Even if they destroyed everything, they couldn't beat a friggen mission with good dilemna's. Klingons need more personeel to do same thing as bridge crew, meaning important deck space is wasted. Future Enterprise is invincible. It can just move all over the place and complete missions. Star Trek has become very one sided, and is therefore very boring. Decipher should put powerful starships, and powerful personeel for Klingons, Romulans and non-federation in First Contact and future expansions. It may not coincide with the movie, but it is ineeded for game balance. Try to undo the damage that has already been done.
