If you're wondering just what you've stumbled into, here is some information about the cult, to
help you get started.
So what's all this Cult business about anyway? Legend has it that ancient scrolls were found underneath a ruined Aztec temple (along with the secrets of cold fusion, space travel, a perfect system of government, and clear, easy to read instructions on how to program a VCR) by the Secret Master. The scrolls contained dark knowledge about The Octopus, and thus a Cult was formed, based on this forbidden knowledge. Slowly, the cult rose in power, aided by the fact that they had corrupted the Pope of that era, so had access to the vaticans "black library" and research forgotten rituals to raise the Octopus and his dark minions. Another legend states that some guy made the whole thing up when he was bored one day, and decided to expand on the concept with a web-page. You decide. The truth isn't out there.....it's in here..... For one reason or the other, a lot of famous people throughout time have been attracted to the cult, which has welcomed them with open tentacles. After all, in one way or another these people touch the lives of millions of people, and what better way to subvert the populous then by first subverting their heroes...... The Beatles: "Octopus's Garden" contains subliminal messages designed to break down the public's will, and make them easier to manipulate. It also portrays octopi in a favorable light, easing the day when Octopus worship is forced on all. HP Lovecraft: Creator of the Cthulhu mythos. All of his books should have "Names changed to protect the guilty" on the front cover. Lovecraft was almost expelled from the cult, for fears that he was giving away too much information. This debate lead to the realisation that it is easier to hide if you are presented as fiction, and hence this web-page. Paul Schaffer (and the CBS Orchestra) Why does this guy seem so out of it?
