One of the escapee from the Manicore lab. Right now work as a bike messenger in Seattle. Since her escape, Max has been searching for her "siblings", fellow escapees. She actually met Logan while she attempted to break into his home. (Grand theft is a great way to make the money necessary for the search effort!) Logan has recuited Max to help his cause; in return, he helps her locate her siblings. Being genetically enhanced by Manicore, this girl can kick ass!

The wealthy man behind Eyes Only streaming video. After the pulse, too many people became powerless against the scums of the city. The idealistic cyberjournalist decided to take matter in his own hands, and to save the city, or what's left of it. His "hack" streaming videos annouce to the world the evils of the city. They force people to face the situation. Recently, with the help of his helpful associate, Max, things are moving along great.

A soldier with a mission: To reclaim, by any means necessary, the group of gifted children (Group X5) who sucessful escaped from Manicore base. Being the commanding officer of Manicore at the time, it is a disgrace for him to have let these children escape -- especially to a man as proud as he is. He has been decorated many times, till his alcohol problem caught up with him. He is also known 'Deck' to his nearest and dearest.

A straight up friend who tries her best to help her friends out of their jams. Original Cindy is always looking out for her best friend Max. She is also someone who would call it like she sees it, and always looking out for that potential Miss Right, or Miss Right-Now -- never quite understood why the best ladies are always taken, by a man.

A kind roommate always looking out for Max. She is a teaches Japanese for a living. She, unlike Max, actually needs sleep, and wouldn't know how to start a day without coffee.

Co-worker of Max at Jam Pony. However, Sketchy is always looking out for that extra buck, and trying to impress the gals. However, any attempts at either usually ends with some bruises of sort.

Herbal is one of a kind. His messages of peace and harmony comfort Max's circle of friends many times; other times, his messages are just way over their heads. However, peace and harmony go out the window if you mess with his girl!

The generally disrespected boss of Jam Pony, Max's workplace. His real name is Regan (Ray) Ronald. He's just a normal guy trying to hack it in this depressed Seattle. Well, maybe not so normal, he afterall has several PhDs from Harvard...

A fellow Manicore X5 escapee. Zack was the team leader for X5, and even after getting out of Manicore, he kept an eye out for everyone under his command. He saved Max several times. (A key Season 1 recurring character)
