RANT!

Read above please.

A lot of people I've met over the years have shared my fascination with things mythical. It's a fascination and interest I've had for years. I've read anything I could get my hands on, as well as talking to various elderly country folk over the years. I found a wealth of information and legends that sent me seeking more. Over the years I've had fun looking for the folk lore of different countries. It became even more enthralling sorting out the differences and similarities.

It's a rather sad thing to me seeing the loss of heritage as modern "creative license", whether on television or in print, has warped or totally led to the corruption of Folk Lore. Unfortunately, in today's modern society, most people don't know the difference between a Fairy and an Elf! It's rather annoying to see someone talking about Elves and see them showing a picture of a cute little fairy instead! Try telling someone your interested in Elves and having them talk about "Santa's Helpers"! (Santa's "Elves", by the traditional descriptions, are dwarves or gnomes which in the Scandinavian legends were sometimes referred to as elves)

This section is going to be a "Work in Progress". I'll be fleshing it out as I find time to do more research. For now the page is being loaded in an "As Is/To Be Updated Later" state. Graphics and Content to be added as I can.

If your a fellow "Fan" and you've found "The PERFECT" graphic to fit a creature, you've got a little bit of story your Grandma used to tell you, or some research you've done on your favorite Creature, by all means, send it to me! If I can use it you'll see it with a credit to you for it!

Conscientious soul that I am, if you see your work, or recognise someone else's in these pages, let me know so I can give credit where it's due.

All that said, lets get on to the stuff that brought you here!
